At Risada Stud we recognise that not everyone wants to go to the Olympics but that doesn’t make your time or your horse any less precious and valuable! We also understand that breeding can be an expensive and risky business and so we aim to make it as accessible as possible by keeping our pricing fair and transparent, as well as our communication.

We provide a full suite of breeding services for both mare and stallion owners at our bespoke purpose-built facilities, from dummy training to foaling down and everything in between. Every horse that stays with us is treated as one of our own and we are constantly adding, building, learning and improving to make sure we give you no less than our best.

We stand a versatile and carefully selected range of stallions so we really do have something to suit every mare. All of our stallions are chosen for their exceptional temperaments, trainability, athleticism and health, with each stallion bringing their own unique set of characteristics. Combined with our herd of proven performance mares we specialise in breeding performance horses for every lifestyle - the sort with level heads and trainable brains, the low-maintenance kind who will survive without work for a week or two when life takes over and not need lunging for 3 months before you get back on, ones who won’t melt in the rain, who you can take to the beach on Monday, hack with the kids on Wednesday and fly round a BE Novice on the weekend.
